Mount Toubkal Itinerary (6 Days)

Day 1 – Arrive in Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and settle into your traditional riad in the medina. Explore vibrant souks and visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa, filled with street food, performers, and local culture.

Day 2 – Atlas Mountains & Azzaden Valley Trek

🥾 5 hrs | 12km | +750m

Drive to Imlil, the gateway to the Atlas Mountains. Begin your trek through the stunning Azzaden Valley, passing waterfalls and juniper forests before reaching Tamsoult Refuge (2250m).

Day 3 – Aguelzim Pass Challenge

🥾 6–7 hrs | 17km | +1300m

A tougher day crossing the Aguelzim Pass (3560m) with panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains. Overnight at Les Mouflons refuge. After lunch scenic lookout with a spectacular view across Atlas mountain range continue hiking to les Mouflon mountain refuge, early bed ready for summit night push around 3am.Climb mount Toubkal Morocco

Day 4 – Summit Mount Toubkal (4167m)

🥾 9–10 hrs | Summit Day

Start before dawn and reach the summit of Mount Toubkal for an unforgettable sunrise over the Atlas Mountains and Sahara.

Descend to the village of Armed for a well-earned rest and traditional Moroccan hospitality.

The long walk down with over 2000m to descend and stop to Armed enjoy final evening in the mountain with beautiful view of the mountain you have just summited.

Day 5 – Return to Marrakechclimb Mount Toubkal Morocco

🥾 2 hrs | Easy descent

Walk back to Imlil and transfer to Marrakech. Enjoy free time for shopping, relaxation, or a celebratory dinner. After a breakfast  enjoy the short walk down to the trailhead at Imlil where you will meet your driver and begin the journey back to Marrakech. You will be back at riad by lunchtime. Last day of the trip you can head out to explore the local food, souvenirs or relaxing at riad.

Day 6 – Departure

Transfer to Marrakech Airport (RAK) for your onward journey.
