Day 01: Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi

The journey to Mikumi National Park unfolds along the Dar es Salaam – Morogoro highway, with the park nestled amidst the Uluguru Mountains and the Great Rift Valley Escarpments. A scenic drive of approximately 4 to 4.5 hours brings you to Mikumi. Arriving around noon, your first day includes exhilarating game drives with a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site. In the late afternoon, head to Camp Bastian, a charming lodge located just outside Mikumi National Park, for dinner and overnight stay. Day 02: Full Day Mikumi National Park

Mikumi, part of the vast Selous Ecosystem, is home to an impressive array of bird species and wildlife. Spot giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, elands, and various antelopes during your exploration. Day 03: Mikumi to Dar Es Salaam
